Hidden Fees to Watch for in Copier Lease Agreements

Signing a copier lease can feel like checking off a box on your to-do list until those hidden fees start popping up. What looked like a cost-effective solution can quickly balloon into a financial headache if you’re not careful.  This guide breaks down the most common hidden fees found in copier lease agreements and how to avoid them. By the end, you’ll know exactly what to look out for, and how Clear Choice Technical Services can help you steer clear of these pitfalls. Why Businesses Lease Copiers (and Why Hidden Fees Matter) Leasing office equipment like copiers is a smart move for many companies. It saves upfront capital, keeps technology current, and often includes maintenance services. However, lease contracts can be complicated and come with terms buried in fine print, especially if you’re working with the wrong provider. These hidden fees can range from minor annoyances to major budget busters. And if you’re not watching, they can cost your business thousands of dollars over the lease term. Common Hidden Fees in Copier Lease Agreements Let’s take a look at the most common hidden fees you’ll want to spot before signing anything. 1. Excessive Overage Charges Copier leases typically come with a monthly print/copy volume allowance. But what happens when you exceed that number? You could be charged up to 3 to 10 cents per page, depending on your lease terms, and these costs add up quickly. What to do: Before signing, ask your provider about the cost per overage page and how that rate changes if your print volume increases. A reputable provider like Clear Choice Technical Services will help you choose a plan based on your actual usage, not just estimates. 2. Annual Rate Increases Some copier leases contain clauses that allow for annual cost increases, often without much explanation. These increases can range from 5% to 15% per year and may affect your base monthly rate or service charges. What to do: Look for a rate lock clause in your agreement. If one isn’t included, ask the leasing company to add it or clearly outline the expected increases over the lease term. 3. Auto-Renewal Clauses Many businesses get caught in auto-renewal traps. If you don’t send a cancellation notice within a narrow time window, your contract could automatically renew for another year or more. What to do: Mark your calendar the day you sign the lease. And better yet, partner with a leasing provider that offers flexible end-of-term options, like Clear Choice Technical Services. 4. Early Termination Fees Need to end your copier lease early? Brace yourself. Early termination fees can be as high as the remaining value of the lease. That could mean paying for years’ worth of service you no longer use. What to do: Always ask what happens if your business outgrows the copier, or if you want to upgrade early. A reliable provider will offer equipment upgrade options without penalties. 5. Hidden Maintenance Fees Many copier lease agreements bundle in a maintenance contract. While this is a great value, some leases sneak in extra charges for things like parts, toners, or on-site technician visits, even if you thought they were included. What to do: Request a clear breakdown of what the maintenance plan includes. With Clear Choice Technical Services, you’ll always know what you’re paying for, and what’s included in your plan. 6. Delivery and Installation Costs You’d think delivery and installation would be part of the package, but with some providers, it’s not. Businesses are often surprised by charges for delivery, setup, and network configuration, which can range from $100 to $500 or more. What to do: Ask whether delivery, installation, and basic training are included. If not, get those costs in writing so there are no surprises later. 7. End-of-Lease Return Fees Returning the copier at the end of the lease might sound simple but many businesses are blindsided by fees for pickup, packaging, or shipping the device back to the lessor. What to do: Get clarity on who handles return logistics and at what cost. Clear Choice Technical Services always provides transparent terms so you’re never stuck with unexpected return costs. How Local Businesses Are Affected Let’s say you’re a marketing firm in Dallas or a medical practice in Denver. You depend on copiers to run your business smoothly. But if you’re unknowingly paying extra for toner or getting hit with overage charges every month, it cuts into your profits. Worse, hidden costs create budgeting headaches and frustrate teams who just want the copier to work without drama. Local businesses can’t afford to waste money or time. That’s why understanding your copier lease is not just smart, it’s essential. How Clear Choice Technical Services Helps You Avoid These Fees At Clear Choice Technical Services, we don’t believe in surprise charges. Our leasing contracts are clear, straightforward, and always aligned with your business goals. Here’s what you can expect when you lease with us: Transparent Pricing: No hidden fees. Fair End-of-Lease Options: We make it easy to return, renew, or upgrade your copier without the fine-print traps. What to Ask Before You Sign a Copier Lease Before you lease, get answers to these key questions: What’s the monthly base cost, and what does it include? Are there any annual rate increases or auto-renewals? What happens if I exceed the monthly copy/print allowance? Is maintenance included, and what does it cover? Who handles delivery, setup, and training? Is there a fee? What are the end-of-lease return instructions and costs? Can I upgrade equipment before the lease ends? If a provider can’t (or won’t) answer these questions directly, it’s a red flag. Read the Fine Print and Protect Your Budget! Copier leases can be a fantastic way to streamline your operations, if you know what you’re signing. Hidden fees are avoidable when

Notice of Stolen Property: Xerox Altalink C8230 Copiers

We never thought we’d be writing a blog like this, but here we are. At Clear Choice Technical Services, we pride ourselves on integrity, customer service, and secure leasing transactions. But even the most cautious businesses can fall victim to deception. And today, we’re sharing a story that we hope will protect others from becoming the next target. The Fraud That Cost Over $106,000 On April 18, 2025, a complex scam led to the theft of 19 Xerox Altalink C8230 copiers, valued at a total of $106,714.80. The fraudsters impersonated a global brand—PepsiCo—and executed an elaborate scheme involving: A fictitious but convincing website, designed to mirror PepsiCo’s legitimate corporate page Email communication from spoofed domains, resembling official PepsiCo addresses Use of real employee names and titles, making everything look completely authentic An address posted online that was already tied to previous scams, unbeknownst to us Using real legal entity information linked to PepsiCo, the scammers gained lease approval from PEAC Solutions. As a result, our team was greenlit to order and deliver the 19 devices from Synnex distribution.. Unfortunately, everything seemed legitimate, until it was far too late. What Went Wrong Our equipment was delivered to what appeared to be a valid warehouse location at 720 Whittier Street in Bronx, New York. Upon delivery, the delivery team was told directly by a real business owner at the address that PepsiCo didn’t exist there and had no affiliation whatsoever. The red flag was obvious, but no further verification was made. Instead, the delivery was left curbside, and shortly after, a box truck arrived, loaded up the machines, and vanished. We didn’t discover the fraud until weeks later, when we followed up on payment. At that point, the damage was done. Active Investigation in Progress We immediately filed a Grand Larceny report with the NYPD, and we’re cooperating closely with law enforcement to recover the stolen property. The Port Authority has been notified and is monitoring for overseas shipments of Xerox devices. We’ve also flagged all serial numbers with Xerox. If any of the machines are: Registered for use Brought in for service Covered under a service agreement …they will be flagged, and action can be taken. Here’s Where You Come In If you’re in the market for a copier or you know someone who is, please help us spread the word. These devices may end up on resale platforms, in second-hand electronics stores, or with third-party brokers. If someone unknowingly purchases one of these machines, they could face legal trouble and financial loss. We’re publishing this blog post to help prevent more victims of this scam. Stolen Equipment List: Model and Serial Numbers All 19 machines are Xerox Altalink C8230 color copiers. Below are the serial numbers of the stolen devices: ZRE677891 ZRE677081 ZRE677443 ZRE677393 ZRE677786 ZRE677890 ZRE677755 ZRE677960 ZRE677963 ZRE677802 ZRE677803 ZRE677177 ZRE677462 ZRE677186 ZRE676937 ZRE677899 ZRE677994 ZRE677977 ZRE677986 If you encounter any of these units, do not buy or service them. Instead, immediately report the sighting to the NYPD or contact us directly. Lessons We’ve Learned No one likes admitting they were scammed. But this post isn’t about embarrassment. Instead, it’s about awareness. This wasn’t a simple case of identity theft. It was a layered, methodical operation that slipped through many layers of security, including a major equipment leasing company. We’re working with law enforcement, Xerox, and other industry professionals to tighten our security protocols and prevent this from happening again. Our Commitment to Clients and Partners Trust is everything in our business. Whether you’re a small local business or a Fortune 500 company, we take every step to ensure that your leasing experience is: Secure Transparent Reliable We’ve already implemented new safeguards to ensure every order undergoes deeper verification checks, especially when a new corporate entity is involved. Looking for a Copy Machine Lease Near Me?

Finding a reliable copy machine lease near me can be overwhelming. With so many options and providers, knowing where to start is hard.  But it doesn’t have to be! Whether you’re setting up a new office or need an upgrade to your current equipment, leasing a copier might be the solution you’re looking for. In this post, we’ll explain the benefits of leasing a copy machine, how to choose the right lease for your business, and why Clear Choice Technical Services is the perfect partner for your needs. Let’s dive in! Why It Is Practical for Businesses to Lease a Copier Leasing a copier offers a lot of flexibility, especially for businesses in Minden. With rapid technological changes and increasing demands for office efficiency, it can be challenging to justify the upfront costs of purchasing a copier.  Leasing allows you to keep your equipment updated and avoid the hassle of maintenance and repairs. You only pay for what you use and can upgrade to newer models as your business grows. Furthermore, leasing offers an affordable alternative to paying for the full cost of a new machine upfront, which can free up your cash flow for other expenses. This is especially important for smaller businesses or startups who may not have large budgets for office equipment. Key Benefits of a Copy Machine Lease 1. Lower Upfront Costs When you lease a copier, you spread out the cost of the machine over time. This can help you save a significant amount of money initially, which is crucial for businesses that need to allocate funds for other priorities.  Unlike purchasing, which can involve large lump-sum payments, leasing allows you to make smaller, more manageable monthly payments. 2. Access to the Latest Technology In a fast-paced business environment like Nevada, staying up to date with technology is essential. Leasing a copy machine near you allows you to upgrade your copier as newer models come out, ensuring that your office always has the most efficient and advanced equipment. 3. Maintenance and Support Included Many lease agreements come with the added benefit of maintenance and repair services, so you don’t have to worry about breakdowns or expensive repairs.  This peace of mind ensures that your copier stays in working order, reducing downtime and increasing productivity. If something goes wrong, your service provider will handle it for you. 4. Flexible Lease Terms Leasing a copy machine typically offers more flexibility than purchasing one outright. If your business expands or changes direction, you can adjust your lease terms or upgrade to a model that better suits your needs.  This adaptability makes leasing a highly practical solution for businesses in dynamic and evolving industries. Finding the Right Copy Machine Lease Near Me Assess Your Business Needs Before committing to a lease, it’s important to evaluate your business’s specific needs. How many copies do you make monthly? Do you need color printing, scanning, or other advanced features?  Understanding your volume and requirements will help you choose the right copier model and lease term. Choose a Reputable Provider Choosing the right provider is essential for a smooth leasing experience. You want a company that offers competitive rates and provides excellent customer service and technical support.  Look for providers with a track record of reliability and customer satisfaction, and check their service agreements for hidden fees or conditions. Clear Choice Technical Services, for example, is a trusted provider of copy machine leases. With years of experience and a focus on customer satisfaction, they make the leasing process easy and stress-free.  Plus, our team is always ready to assist with repairs, maintenance, and support whenever you need it. Long-Term Considerations for Your Copier Lease When deciding on a copy machine lease near me, consider the long-term benefits and responsibilities.  A lease agreement may last for several years, so you’ll need to factor in the monthly payments and the service and maintenance terms. Some leases include the cost of toner, ink, and other supplies, while others may require separate purchases. It’s also important to read the fine print in the lease agreement. Ensure you understand the lease terms, such as the length, renewal options, and the total cost over the term. A well-structured lease should offer enough flexibility to adjust if your business’s needs change. The Most Common Lease Types and What They Mean 1. Fair Market Value Lease This is a popular option for businesses that want to upgrade their equipment after the lease term. At the end of the lease, you can either purchase the copier at its fair market value or return it and lease a new one. 2. $1 Buyout Lease In a $1 buyout lease, you pay low monthly payments throughout the lease term. At the end of the lease, you can buy the copier for just $1, making it an attractive option for businesses that want to own the machine outright after the lease. 3. Single Payment Lease With a single-payment lease, you pay the entire lease cost upfront. This is ideal for businesses that want to avoid monthly payments but still want the benefits of leasing rather than purchasing. 4. Maintenance Included Lease Some lease agreements include maintenance as part of the contract, covering all repairs and service costs for the duration of the lease. This is a good option if you want peace of mind knowing that your copier will be properly maintained throughout the lease term. 5 Signs It’s Time to Consider Copier Leasing in Nevada

Let’s be honest: when was the last time your office copier made your life easier instead of more stressful? If you’re juggling paper jams, slow print speeds, or calls to IT just to scan a document, it may be time to look at copier leasing in Nevada. Why? Because copier leasing allows your business to stay ahead with reliable, high-performance machines without the massive upfront cost of buying. It means more uptime, better features, and fewer service calls.  In this post, we will break down five clear signs that your office copier is holding you back. We will also explain why leasing a new one might be the smartest move your Nevada business can make. Trust us, your team (and your budget) will thank you. 1. Your Current Copier Is Slowing Everyone Down Remember when your copier was the office MVP? Fast, reliable, maybe even a little fancy? Those days are gone. If every print job feels like it’s running on dial-up internet, your productivity is taking a hit. Today’s copiers can scan, fax, print, email, and even secure documents at lightning speed. Leasing lets you upgrade to modern equipment without draining your capital. And in Nevada’s competitive business environment, speed matters. 2. You’re Calling for Service Way Too Often It starts with one jam. Then another. And before you know it, your copier’s out of order more than it’s working. If you’re on a first-name basis with your repair tech, it’s a big red flag. A lease includes maintenance, often with faster turnaround times and predictable costs. Your business can’t afford repeated downtime. Copier leasing keeps things moving. 3. You Need Better Features—Now Older copiers just weren’t built for today’s workflows. Want to print from your phone? Add encryption? Automatically sort jobs by department? Modern machines do all that and more. But they also come with a hefty price tag if you buy outright. Leasing a copier for business in Nevada gives you access to premium features that support remote teams, hybrid workplaces, and growing document needs. 4. You’re Worried About Security Data breaches aren’t just a big-business problem. Copiers store data—yes, your copier stores documents—and older machines are more vulnerable. Newer copiers include advanced security features, like user authentication and secure erase functions. But again, they cost. With copier leasing in Nevada, you can rotate your equipment every few years to stay ahead of threats without constantly shelling out for new tech. 5. You Want Predictable Monthly Costs Buying a copier means one big expense. Leasing gives you consistent, predictable monthly payments that make budgeting easier. Plus, maintenance is often bundled in. No more surprise bills when something breaks down. This kind of financial predictability is key, especially for small and mid-sized businesses trying to manage cash flow. How to Lease a Copier for Business in Nevada Without Breaking the Bank The good news? Leasing doesn’t have to be complicated. Here’s a simple breakdown of how to lease a copier for business in Nevada: Assess your needs. What’s your print volume? Do you need color, scanning, faxing? Choose a leasing partner. Look for local experts like Clear Choice who understand your needs. Pick your equipment. Go for a machine that handles your current demands and leaves room to grow. Understand your terms. How long is the lease? What’s included in the maintenance plan? Set it and forget it. With leasing, once you’re set up, you’re good to go. Most companies handle everything from installation to upkeep. This approach gives your Nevada office the freedom to grow without being chained to outdated tech or high upfront costs. How Copier Leasing Improves Business Operations Copier leasing isn’t just about a machine—it’s about improving the way your business operates. With a leased copier, you get: Remote printing features that support hybrid work Maintenance and service plans to minimize downtime Advanced print tracking for cost management High-volume printing support for busy teams Secure document handling Environmentally friendly options like energy-efficient copiers All of these features directly impact your team’s productivity, security, and budget. Who Benefits Most From Copier Leasing in Nevada? Let’s talk about the real MVPs of copier leasing: small businesses, startups, legal firms, real estate offices, schools, and even medical practices. Basically, any Nevada organization that relies on documents can benefit. Whether you’re printing contracts, medical records, student forms, or marketing materials, having the right copier makes a huge difference in how smoothly things run. The Hidden Costs of Hanging Onto That Old Copier If your copier “still works,” that doesn’t mean it’s working for you. Think about how much time your team wastes waiting for jobs to finish. Or how much money you’re throwing at repairs. Or how many deadlines have been missed due to unexpected downtime. When you look at the big picture, leasing often saves money over time. How Copier Leasing Supports Growth Your business isn’t static. So why should your copier be? Leasing gives you the flexibility to scale. If your needs change, you can upgrade mid-contract. This is especially helpful for growing Nevada businesses that need to adapt quickly. Choosing the Right Leasing Partner All copier leases are not created equal. Look for a provider who: Offers transparent pricing Has a local presence in Nevada Provides fast support and repairs Customizes leasing plans for your business size and industry That’s where Clear Choice Technical Services comes in. Why Clear Choice Technical Services? We’re not just leasing copiers—we’re helping Nevada businesses run better. Why Leasing an Office Printer is a Smart Decision for Your Business

Why Leasing an Office Printer is a Smart Decision for Your Business

If you’re running a business, you know that reliable office equipment is essential for smooth operations. But buying expensive printers and copiers outright can put a strain on your budget. This is where an office printer lease can make all the difference.  Leasing provides top-quality equipment, flexible terms, and predictable costs without the burden of upfront expenses. At Clear Choice Technical Services, we specialize in helping businesses like yours access the best copier solutions with the latest technology.  Keep reading to discover why leasing is a smarter, more cost-effective choice for your office. 1. A Cost-Effective Choice for Businesses The upfront cost of purchasing a printer or copier can be a significant financial burden, especially for small—to medium-sized businesses. However, you can avoid this large capital expenditure while gaining access to the latest technology.  Leasing allows you to spread the cost of the printer over time with predictable monthly payments, freeing up your capital for other business expenses. It also allows you to upgrade your equipment as technology evolves.  In the long run, leasing can be a more affordable option, particularly if your business relies on high-volume printing. 2. Maintenance and Repairs Are Covered One of the major benefits of leasing a printer is that maintenance and repairs are often included in the agreement. This means you won’t have to worry about additional repairs or unexpected downtime costs.  Having a reliable printer is essential for maintaining office productivity. With a lease, you can have peace of mind knowing that the leasing provider will take care of any necessary repairs or maintenance. 3. Access to the Latest Technology Office technology, particularly printers and copiers, is constantly evolving. When you purchase a printer, it can quickly become outdated as newer, more efficient models are introduced.  With an office printer lease, you can upgrade your equipment at the end or in the middle of your term. This ensures you can always access the latest features, like faster printing speeds, enhanced security, and improved energy efficiency. Leasing is a great way for businesses to stay ahead of the competition. It gives them access to top-of-the-line equipment without the need to invest in new machines every few years. 4. Flexible Lease Terms to Fit Your Business Needs Every business has unique printing needs. And leasing allows you to select a machine that fits your exact requirements.  Additionally, the terms can be customized based on your specific needs. So, you can decide to choose a shorter lease for a project or a longer-term lease for ongoing business operations. 5. No Need for Large Capital Investment Many businesses, especially startups or small companies, find it difficult to commit large sums of money to purchasing office equipment.  Leasing lets you get the printer you need without making a hefty initial investment. This is especially important when cash flow is a priority or when you must allocate funds toward other aspects of the business, such as marketing or product development. By choosing a copier lease, you avoid tying up precious capital in equipment that could quickly become obsolete. Instead, you can keep your business’s financial resources fluid while still gaining access to high-quality technology. 6. Streamlined and Professional Customer Support A lease means you are partnering with a service provider who can ensure your equipment is operating optimally. Whether you need assistance setting up your printer, troubleshooting an issue, or optimizing your print settings, professional service providers offer expert guidance.  Also, having a dedicated support team is especially helpful when dealing with more complex issues with high-volume printers and copiers. 7. Simplify Budgeting with Predictable Costs With an office printer lease, you have predictable monthly payments that make budgeting for your business’s printing needs easier.  Most leases include service and maintenance in the monthly fee, which helps eliminate surprise repair costs. This predictability can help small businesses plan more effectively for their future expenses.  8. Minimize Risk with a Lease Agreement When you lease a printer, the risk of dealing with an outdated or malfunctioning machine is minimized. If your printer becomes obsolete or requires more maintenance than it’s worth, you don’t have to worry about selling it or being stuck with an underperforming machine.  Instead, you can return the printer at the end of the term and opt for an upgrade or a different model that better fits your business’s needs. Leasing also offers some flexibility if your business’s requirements change over time. If your business grows and you need more printing power or if your needs become more specialized, your lease can be adjusted to accommodate those changes. 9. Sustainability and Environmental Benefits Leasing copiers and printers can also have environmental benefits, as the equipment is often refurbished or recycled at the end of its lease term.  By leasing, you support sustainable business practices by reducing the amount of electronic waste and ensuring that the equipment is properly recycled or reused. How Office Printer Leasing Works for Small Businesses Leasing an office printer offers flexibility and cost savings for businesses minus the hefty upfront investment. Here’s how it works: 1. Choose the Right Printer First, select the printer model that fits your business needs. There are plenty of models available, so you can find the right solution for your operations. 2. Customize Your Lease Terms Leasing terms are generally flexible. You can choose the duration, payment schedule, and level of service to align with your budget and business goals. 3. Pay According to Your Terms Leasing provides predictable monthly payments, which helps you avoid large upfront costs and makes budgeting easier for your small business. Why Leasing an Office Printer Makes Sense for Your Business Leasing an office printer offers many advantages, from cost savings and access to the latest technology to the flexibility of customized lease terms and predictable monthly payments.  Clear Choice Technical Services provides businesses with the right copier and printer leasing solutions to meet their needs.  Don’t let your office equipment hold you back. Maintenance Tips for Rental Copiers

As a business owner, a reliable copier remains essential. Renting a copier saves money for small businesses effectively. It is particularly beneficial for changing printing needs. Like all equipment, rental copiers require regular maintenance too. This ensures optimal performance and extended lifespan. At Clear Choice, we’ll share maintenance tips for rental copiers to keep your equipment in top condition. Follow these tips to prevent downtime and ensure your copier is always ready for your printing needs. 1. Keep the Copier Clean Maintain your rental copier’s cleanliness for optimal performance. Dust and ink buildup can result in printing errors. Use a soft cloth to wipe it daily. Clean the exterior to remove dirt and dust. For interiors, use a vacuum with a small nozzle. Remove dust from hard-to-reach areas carefully. Always follow the manufacturer’s cleaning instructions closely. Regular cleaning extends your copier’s operational lifespan. 2. Know How to Load Paper Correctly Incorrectly loaded paper causes printing issues often. Before loading, consult the manufacturer’s specific instructions carefully. Avoid overfilling paper trays or using damaged paper. This minimizes jams and other issues requiring maintenance. Proper loading keeps your rental copier running smoothly and efficiently. 3. Schedule Regular Maintenance Checks Even with proper care, rental copiers need maintenance checks regularly. We suggest scheduling these checks with your rental company. A certified technician should conduct the checks routinely. During checks, technicians examine and clean critical copier components. They identify any potential issues proactively, making necessary adjustments. This proactive approach prevents breakdowns and saves time. 4. Keep Up with Ink or Toner Levels Always monitor your copier’s ink or toner levels. Running out during print jobs can cause significant delays. Regularly check levels and reorder supplies before depletion. Use high-quality cartridges recommended by the manufacturer always. Consider stocking extra supplies to avoid unexpected shortages effectively. 5. Handle with Care It is vital to handle your rental copier carefully. Avoid slamming trays or forceful closures on doors. These actions may damage delicate components significantly. Handle copiers gently for better performance and longevity. Make sure to read the user manual thoroughly for guidance. The Smart Business Guide to Printer Leasing

the-smart-business-guide-for-printer-leasing

Are you considering leasing printers for your organization? Any business, no matter how big or small, can benefit from fully understanding the complicated rules of printer leasing. With the information provided in this guide, you will be able to make informed decisions regarding printer-for-lease solutions that are in line with the needs of your organization.  What is Printer Leasing? Printer leasing is a practical option for businesses that need printing services because it saves them the money and hassle of buying a printer all at once.  By agreeing to this deal, you sign a contract with a company that rents out printers, and each month you pay a set fee to use the printer. This arrangement is especially helpful for companies that want to print high-quality documents while also being careful with their money and avoiding unnecessary capital expenditures. Why Choose Printer Leasing? Printer leasing is a great option for businesses of all sizes. It’s super flexible and cost-effective! When you lease a printer, you not only get access to the latest printing tech but also enjoy maintenance and support services. Plus, check out the benefits:  Reduce Upfront Costs: Leasing a printer minimizes the initial investment, freeing up capital for other business areas. Access to Latest Technology: Printer leasing companies often provide the latest models, ensuring you’re always up-to-date. Flexible Contracts: Tailor your lease to fit your business’s changing needs. Choosing the Right Printer Leasing Company Choosing the perfect printer leasing company is of utmost importance when it comes to meeting your business needs. There are several key factors you should consider before making a decision:  Reputation and Experience: Choose a leasing company with a solid track record and industry expertise. A reputable company ensures reliable and high-quality services. Range of Services: Assess the leasing company’s service range. Do they offer a wide selection of printers and copiers? Can they handle your printing needs, including maintenance and support? Flexibility in Contracts: Consider the flexibility of leasing contracts: Can you easily upgrade or downgrade equipment as needs change? Watch out for hidden costs or penalties for early termination. Pricing and Affordability: Compare the pricing structures of leasing companies. Consider upfront costs and additional fees (maintenance, consumables). Ensure pricing aligns with the budget and provides value. Customer support: Assess the leasing company’s customer support. Do they promptly respond to inquiries and resolve issues? A reliable and supportive customer service team enhances your experience. When it comes to choosing the perfect printer leasing company for your business, you don’t want to leave anything to chance. Printer leasing companies, like Clear Choice Technical Services, make sure their clients get the best out of the deal. By taking the time to consider these important factors, you’ll also be able to make a well-informed decision that will truly benefit your company.  Printer for Lease: What to Look For When choosing a printer for lease, it’s crucial to assess your business needs and select the appropriate printer model. Here are some points to keep in mind:  Printing Volume: Consider the volume of printing required by your business. This will help determine the right size and type of printer. Features and Functions: Assess the features you need in a printer, such as scanning, copying, and wireless capabilities. Make sure the printer can handle your specific requirements. Print Quality: Determine the quality of print output required for your business purposes. Printers vary in their resolution capabilities, so choose one that meets your standards. Maintenance and Support: Look into the maintenance and support services offered by printer leasing companies. If something goes wrong, it’s important to have a support system you can count on. Conclusion Get the most out of your printing needs with flexible and affordable printer leasing solutions. By choosing the right printer leasing company and understanding the lease terms, you can enjoy top-notch printing services without the hefty upfront cost. Don’t forget that thorough research, comparisons, and selecting a leasing option that matches your business goals are essential. Ready to explore your printer leasing options? What Should You Do After The End Of Your Copier Lease?

What Should You Do After The End Of Your Copier Lease?

It’s the end of your copier lease, now what? What are some considerations when you are at the end of a lease for your copier? How should you feel about leasing a copier in general? There is no one answer to these questions. It depends on many factors. Hopefully, this blog post will provide some insight into what can happen at an end-of-lease time and how it impacts business owners like yourself! It’s the End of Your Copier Lease, Now What? First, you should be prepared to make a decision. What do you need your copier for? How much can it print each month? Is this enough capacity or too much capacity for the business demand at present time and in future years? Let’s say your end-of-lease time has come upon a copier that you’re leasing from an equipment vendor like us here at the Copier Guys. You’ve been making monthly payments for three years when all of a sudden one day you get a call saying it’s end-of-lease time and they’ll buy out your old machines or offer to recommend replacement options in case you want to upgrade. What should you do? Should you go with another lease or maybe consider buying this piece of equipment outright? Well, let me tell ya! It depends… Leasing is great because it gives businesses flexibility over their purchases by spreading out costs into equal payment plans over time. Sometimes, however, it’s not the best choice because you end up paying more for a new copier than what your old one is even worth on the market and end up without any money left in reserve to fix or upgrade equipment if something goes wrong. If you end up deciding that leasing isn’t right for you then there are other options such as buying used or new from an authorized dealer like us here at Copier Guys. Buying refurbished can save businesses quite a bit of cash compared to brand-new models while still getting the top quality products backed by warranties and service agreements with reputable companies like ours! We also offer to finance so no matter how good (or bad) your credit may be we’ve got you covered. What should you learn from leasing a copier? Leasing your office equipment can be a great solution for many business owners, but there are also some downsides. You end up paying more over the term of the lease than if you had purchased it outright by making monthly payments instead of one large payment at the end-of-lease time. There’s no escaping that reality! But what is even worse about leases is how they can blindside companies towards end-of-lease time and make them forget all their good intentions to buy out the machine or trade it in early on something else, like an upgraded model. It happens way too often as unsuspecting businesses get distracted with other issues during end-of-lease negotiations and just don’t end up doing what they initially intended. Leasing is an option that many businesses end up using when they purchase office equipment like printers and copy machines. It’s really important to know how leases work before signing on the dotted line! You don’t want any nasty surprises after the end-of-lease time comes around. This doesn’t just apply to renting copiers; we’re talking about all kinds of leases here such as car leases, office leases, and any other type of rental agreement. What are the possible choices after the lease of your copier? Do nothing – If there are no problems with the equipment then simply leave it be. You have already made an initial investment so why spend more money if not necessary? Rent another unit- Rental rates vary widely but many companies will offer good deals for those looking to rent again immediately (especially if they were happy customers). Buy out – Let’s say you find yourself still in need of what this machine brings and want to keep it. Well, you have the option to buy out your old machine for a lump sum payment that will end up being much less than what leasing would cost over time. Buy new – Now this brings us back to the beginning of our article where we stated you could always buy another copier, but is now maybe not such a bad idea? If your company needs something more than just basic copying services then consider investing in an upgrade or a completely different model. There are multiple options out there so don’t feel boxed in thinking you have no other choice but to do nothing at all with equipment once it has reached its end date on the contract. The decision is yours alone depending on your business requirements! Should you continue to lease or buy a new copier?
